How long does it live in the capsule?

About 3 to 12 months, depending on the plant type and how much light and water it gets. Cacti usually last longer in the capsule than succulents. Plants that are worn often tend to grow more slowly, so they stay in the capsule longer.

How do I water it?

It takes about a minute, roughly once every 20–40 days. Dip the base of the capsule in a little water, then keep the plant still for 30–40 minutes. Each plant's page shows its own watering, light and temperature needs. Look for these icons: watering, light, temperature.

A little condensation inside the capsule won't hurt the plant. If you see it, take the top off and let it air out. Full watering guide

How big is it?

The capsule is about 1.5 in (4 cm) tall and 0.67 in (17 mm) wide, small enough to take anywhere. One day, your Boo-Boo Plant will earn a spot in your garden.
